M.anifest Joins Nas’ Mass Appeal, Drops Masterpiece themed New Road & Guava Trees

M.anifest - New Road & Guava Trees

Ghanaian rapper M.anifest (Kwame Ametepee Tsikata) has reached a major career milestone with the release of his sixth studio album, New Road & Guava Trees, under Mass Appeal Records, the label co-founded by hip-hop legend Nas. This move cements his presence on the global stage, aligning him with a brand that has championed hip-hop beyond the U.S.

Known for his intricate lyricism and fusion of hip-hop, highlife, and afrobeats, M.anifest’s signing to Mass Appeal signals a move to upscale his international visibility.

His latest album ‘New Road & Guava Trees’ released on March 13, 2025, is a deeply personal project, inspired by his upbringing in Madina. The title reflects growth, resilience, and new beginnings, drawing from his childhood home and the guava trees that symbolized fresh starts.

The 14-track album features a powerful lineup, including:

  • King Promise
  • The Cavemen
  • Bien (Sauti Sol)
  • Darkovibes
  • AratheJay
  • Flea

Singles like Puff Puff (featuring Flea & The Cavemen) and Hang My Boots (with King Promise) had already gained traction prior thereby building anticipation for the album’s release.

With his first major-label release, M.anifest is set for a world tour, starting with a London show on May 21, 2025, at Colours Hoxton. His partnership with Mass Appeal could also open doors for collaborations with Nas and other hip-hop heavyweights, further amplifying African representation in the global hip-hop scene.

M.anifest’s New Road & Guava Trees isn’t just an album, it’s a statement of evolution and ambition. His move to Mass Appeal and his expanding global push solidify his place as one of Africa’s most influential voices in hip-hop.
